Daily Mail Saturday edition goes up 10p

The Daily Mail is to push up the cover price of its Saturday edition from 70p to 80p, reports Brand Republic.

This is the first price rise in five years, following the move from 60p to 70p in October 2003.

The new price will make it 20p more expensive than rival paper The Daily Express. The Independent, The Times and The Telegraph have all raised their cover prices in recent months.
