Natmags have appointed the editor in chief of its women’s weeklies as the new editor of Cosmopolitan.
Louise Court currently oversees weekly magazines Reveal, Best and Real People at ACP-Natmags. She replaces Sam Baker who announced her intention to leave Cosmopolitan for Red in August this year.
Court started her career working in the local press, before freelancing in Fleet Street where she became a showbusiness writer for the Daily Express.
She moved to magazines becoming assistant editor of Woman's Own, and worked on both Best and Prima as deputy editor, returning to Best as editor in 1998.

In July 2005, she became ACP-Natmags editor in chief.
Natmags managing director Jessica Burley said: “I am thrilled that Louise will be the next editor of Cosmopolitan.
