Clean broom to sweep the Scottish field

By Press Gazette

Claire Grant has been appointed new editor of Scottish Field.

The

department of Condé Nast before working on a number of consumer titles,
including the Telegraph Magazine and GQ, where she was the youngestever
managing editor of a Condé Nast publication.

Grant said: “The
world of glossy lifestyle magazines is a competitive one, so to be
working on Scottish Field is the perfect challenge for me.While
continuing to appeal to loyal readers, I will target a younger audience
by expanding the social, food and interiors pages.

There will also be renewed emphasis on the importance of Scottish Field’s design in winning readership.”

Grant replaces Arthur Mackenzie who has been promoted to editorial director at the magazine.
