Financial Times contributing editor John Lloyd has been an honorary contributing professor at City University, London.
It is a second academic job for Lloyd, who in March was made
director of journalism of the newly formed Reuters Institute for the
Study of Journalism at Oxford University.
City University head of journalism Adrian Monck said: “John
Lloyd is one of the most important thinkers on the role of contemporary
journalism. He's helped create some of the key debates about the
profession, its role and responsibilities. John is also committed to
the importance of education in shaping journalism's future.”
