Christie Hefner steps down as Playboy chief executive


Daughter of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, Christie Hefner, has announced she is to step down from her chief executive position after 20 years.

Hefner senior launched pin-up magazine Playboy in 1953 in Chicago and the title has gone on to become a global brand.

Board member Jerome Kern will become acting chairman whilst a replacement is decided.
