Prince Charles has given his personal backing to the Gloucester Citizen’s Buy Local campaign, a project supporting food and drink producers in Gloucestershire.
The newspaper launched the campaign – which explains to readers how buying locally can benefit their health, the economy and the environment – at a local vineyard. It ran a poster front page, two pages inside and a full-colour, eight-page supplement, pictured above.
Citizen editor Ian Mean said: “Buy Local is not a 10-day campaign – it will be a continuing issue for the Citizen.”
