Chris Buckley has moved south to take up a newly created position
within the Tindle Radio Group. He has become regional programme
controller for Dream 100 in Colchester and Dream 107 in Chelmsford.
Prior
to this, Buckley worked at Dee 106.3 in Chester and Chrysalis in
London, as head of music presentation and breakfast presenter for the
Heart Digital Network. He worked on the launch of the Chrysalis-backed
multi channel internet station, Puremix.com.
Buckley has also
been head of music at Galaxy 102 in Manchester and the regional
producer of the weekly Social Action campaigns for Key 103, Rock FM,
Radio City and their Magic stations.
The campaigns targeted
previously untouched issues such as sexuality, rape and racism – and
were nominated at the New York Radio Festival Awards.
Speaking
about his new position with the Tindle Radio Group, Buckley said: “I
can’t wait to get stuck into driving the two Dream brands forward. They
both have so much potential and they have fantastic hard-working staff
who really want to win the audience. This is a very exciting time to be
joining Tindle Radio.”
