Controversial 24-hour news channel Press TV has had its NatWest account frozen, according to a report.
The channel, which is owned and run by the Iranian Government, is expected to have an account believed to contain more than £100,000 closed by the bank, The Times said today (The story is in the digital edition of the paper which is paywall protected).
A NatWest spokesman declined to explain the decision to The Times.
