The Daily Mail’s plastic bag campaign marches on and on with DIY store chain B&Q being the latest national company to sign up and impose a tax on bags.
Last week, PM Gordon Brown lent his support to the campaign and high street giants Marks and Spencers pledged to impose a 5p charge on each bag taken from its stores.
The paper may not be devoting nine and seven pages to the issue as it was last week but the campaign is still picking up results.
