Associated Newspapers, which owns the Daily Mail, has expanded its
online recruitment business with a deal worth £4.1m, writes Dominic
Ponsford.
The publisher has bought Zambeasy, owner of
Top-Consultant.com and officerecruit.co.uk. It follows the £35m buy-up
of Jobsite by DMGT in 2004.
The acquisitions follow the launch by
Jobsite of three specialised recruitment websites: emedcareers.co.uk
(pharmaceutical), secreruit.co.uk (secretarial)n and scotrecruit.co.uk
(Scotland).
Trinity Mirror, last month revealed the purchase of another recruitment website, Financial Jobs Online, in a £13m deal.
