A provider of information on gas prices in the global liquefied natural gas market is looking for a deputy editor (£30–35K). The role involves breaking LNG news, writing in-depth features and analysis and taking a leading role in coverage of short-term LNG markets. Existing knowledge of the global LNG market is expected. Job location: London.

A publications company is looking for a chief subeditor (£25-28K) to work on its magazine. You will run the subs department and manage a team of two. You must have previously worked in a similar role within magazines. Previous experience in journalism/communications would be an advantage. Job location: Derbyshire.

A charity is hiring an assistant editor (£27K) to join its in-house team. You will be responsible for writing and editing news and features across publications and websites. You will develop and maintain online presence for all the publications. Job location: London.

Financial News is looking for an associate editor. The role principally acts to commission and edit longer-length analysis and features on private equity as well as write a piece per week and occasional news stories, usually related to the features. Job location: London. Closing date: 28 October.

Financial News is looking for a hedge funds editor. The role will involve financial news coverage of the hedge fund industry. You will generate and execute ideas for articles on the hedge fund industry and its external relations. The Westmorland Gazette is looking for a senior reporter to join its team based in Kendal covering news in the South Lakeland, Furness, Eden and the North Lancashire area. Job location: Kendal. Closing date: 19 October.

The role will involve breaking news on investment grade companies lining up and refinancing existing credit facilities. You will have a track record of breaking news on corporate loans and a solid contact book of banking and industry sources. Knowledge of European languages particularly German would be a plus. Job location: London.
