Wrap Communications has won the contract to publish The Cardiff University Magazine, promising to make it more “mainstream”.
The magazine, which was previously produced in-house, is distributed to more than 35,000 alumni and friends of the university. From September it will change from an annual to a bi-annual publication.
Nick Cottam replaces the former editors Sarah Price, the university’s alumni manager, and Brian Richardson, director of external relations.
He will commission writers such as Ben Brown of the BBC Ten O’Clock News, a former Cardiff student.
