Reporter Kimberly Dozier, who was severely wounded in Iraq, will "absolutely" return to the CBS Evening News, the president of CBS News and Sports has confirmed.
Dozier, 39, was wounded in a blast in Iraq that killed two members of her camera crew as well as a US soldier and an Iraqi translator.
She was seriously injured when the US military unit she was embedded with was caught in a car bomb blast.
Cameraman Paul Douglas, 48, and soundman James Brolan, 42 — both British — were killed in the incident.
Dozier, who holds dual US-British citizenship, is a former correspondent for the BBC World Service. According to CBS, she is set to make a full recovery.
