Eight new journalism jobs found today

The Economist Intelligence Unit is looking for a London or New York based editor. You must have a record of working in the energy sector, ideally with a business publisher, consultancy, or the government. Excellent writing, research, and editing skills are required. Candidates who can demonstrate a network of strong contacts within the sector will be at an advantage.

The Majalla seeks a senior editor for their online magazine. You must have 3 to 5 years experience in journalism, corporate communications, public affairs, international politics or related field. You have more than 2 years of editorial experience, and preferably a masters degree. Good knowledge of the politics of the wider Middle East is required, and knowledge of the Arabic language would be an advantage.

PFJ is looking for a banking/finance/communications editor (£30-35K). You will have experience working in corporate communications or a similar environment. You understand the procedures and processes involved in producing employee communications literature both in online and print. Experience working in the banking/finance sector would be a distinct advantage.

PFJ is looking for an online editor (£30-40K). You have a track record of researching, producing, writing and editing compelling content for a mass audience. You should have a thorough knowledge and understanding of consumer finance or a similar sector and be degree educated. You must have experience of working and editing for an online publication.

The Economist Group is looking for a deputy editor/economist. You have a masters degree, and an in-depth understanding of the politics and economics of countries in Asia and Australasia. Fluency in one or more relevant languages and experience of living or working in one or more Asian countries would be distinct advantages.

The Observer is looking for a deputy news editor. You must have an excellent knowledge of national and international affairs and solid understanding of digital journalism.

Poker Player is looking for a staff writer. You must have a passion for poker, and strong writing skills. Previous experience is not essential but a proven interest in journalism is.

Service Management is looking for an editor. You must have experience of B2B publishing, community moderation, content management systems and compiling e-newsletters. You can source and edit content from a variety of different standards. You must have a working knowledge of html, Photoshop and search engine optimization.
