Welcome to the Evening Beast

Grey Cardigan’s column appears every month in Press Gazette.

He will also be contributing to a new blog named after the pub frequented by Evening Beast journalists – The Shivering Whippet – which is due to launch here on PressGazette.co.uk on 1 September.

There, you’ll be able to find updates on how he’s getting on with the Evening Beast’s new female editor, nicknamed “Crystal Tits”, how Mungo the peripatetic Glaswegian sub is enjoying web 2.0 newsroom integration and what Grey thinks about everything from the death of ITV regional news to the latest “PR bollocks” to land in his in-box.

Also pitching in with irreverent gossip for the new blog will be Axegrinder – whose monthly column will also continue appear only in the print edition of Press Gazette.
