Wales Online published the story of the year last night featuring David Cameron’s shock resignation as Prime Minister.
Oh dear, someone at @WalesOnline has a shocker & accidentally posts 'training exercise' about David Cameron resigning pic.twitter.com/fvhHZvdQXx

Unfortunately as Axegrinder soon discovered, the story was a “training exercise” and was not supposed to go live on the internet. The mistake was quickly spotted and the story was pulled – but not quickly enough as several screen grabs were taken by eagle-eyed readers.
Apologies to anyone who saw that unfortunately published article just now – a training exercise never intended to see the light of day.

I love that @WalesOnline had an article training exercise and the story they plumped for was Cameron's resignation

One sage advised Wales Online to use a staging server and to never do training on the live CMS system.
@WalesOnline @owenblacker Good teachable moment, though: Never do training on your live CMS! Always use a staging server.
