The 12th annual benefit event for Mordechai Vanunu will be held at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London WC1on Saturday, 20 November from 7-9.30pm.
Vanunu was recently released from prison in Israel, where he was held for 18 years after revealing the existence of the country’s Dimona nuclear plant to The Sunday Times.
Those appearing at the benefit are the compère, Arthur Smith, Tony Benn, Bruce Kent, Reem Kelani and her ensemble, Mike Rosen, Mark Steel and Susannah York with excerpts from her show, The Loves of Shakespeare’s Women.
There will be a telephone link with Vanunu at the end of the evening. Tickets cost £10, £5 for concessions.
