A dozen NUJ officials and activists held a protest outside Trinity Mirror’s annual general meeting yesterday.
And seven union reps, armed with a Trinity Mirror share or proxy votes for other shareholders, attended the AGM and pressed the board about its performance.
They argued that sacking journalists in large numbers undermines the quality of the group’s titles.
