Two men have appeared in court charged with the murder of investigative journalist in Northern Ireland – seven years after he was killed.
Neil Hyde, 28, from Princeton Avenue, Lurgan, and Nigel William Leckey, 43, from Bowens Lane, also in Lurgan, were charged with killing Sunday World reporter Martin O’Hagan in the town in 2001.
The journalist was gunned down only yards from his home as he walked back from a local pub with his wife.
Two other men appeared in Lisburn Magistrates’ Court charged with other offences related to the killing.
Robin Andrew King, 42, was charged with perverting the course of justice while Mark Kennedy, 28, was charged with attempting to impede the apprehension of offenders.
