Two appointed to NatMags board

Jan Adcock, group publishing director of the Cosmopolitan group, and Jessica Burley, group publishing director of the Women’s Home and lifestyle group, were appointed members of the board of directors of the National Magazine Company earlier this month.

Managing director Duncan Edwards said: “I am delighted to have Jan and Jessica join the board. They both have very significant responsibilities in the company and bring great expertise and experience to the table. Jan and Jessica have been on our management committee for almost a year and it was a natural step to invite them to become directors of the company.” Adcock joined NatMags in 1993 and was promoted to publisher on Company within a year before moving to the parenting titles M and Having a Baby as group publisher in 1999. She was made group publishing director of the Cosmo group in September 2000.

Burley was appointed group publishing director of Prima, Prima Baby and Best in June 2001 from the business, internet and creative division of Future Publishing.
