TTG’s spin-off targets business travel agents

CMP Information is launching a quarterly magazine next month aimed at business travel agents and travel managers.

The monthly publication, TTG Business, will initially come out quarterly as a free add-on to the weekly B2B magazine Travel Trade Gazette (TTG).

TTG’s supplements and guides editor Adam Coulter, who will edit the title, said: “The idea is to get behind the stories that are making the headlines in TTG and analyse them from business travel agents’ or travel managers’ points of view. I want to dispel the myth that business travel is sometimes, incorrectly, perceived as dry or difficult to bring alive and will get to the human side of the stories.”

Former Metro journalist Finian Davern will replace Coulter on TTG, while former news editor at the Maidenhead Advertiser Robin Searle will become TTG’s news editor. TTG has also taken on a features reporter Dan Uglow.

The Builder Group’s art editor (also CMP Information) Richard Kryzyak, who was launch art director of Esquire as well as art director on Harpers & Queen and NME, will act as a consultant on the magazine’s design.
