Tracks speeds music reviews

By Press Gazette

NME has introduced review section Tracks which will spotlight music as soon as it becomes available to the public, whether via radio, television or the internet.

The magazine traditionally reviews music a week before it appears in the shops so this move will promote a new way of discussing music, says editor Conor MacNicholas.

NME has also combined two sections, Gig Guide and Agenda, to create Access All Areas. This new six-page guide will cover gigs, TV, radio, films, books, video games and other media.
