Time magazine has launched a global fashion spin-off, Style & Design. The 48-page glossy follows the launch last year of Time’s biannual “Fashion Issue”.
Style & Design will also be published twice a year and sold independently on news-stands in Europe from 10 March. Editorial will feature the people, places and products at the sharp end of fashion and design. Over one million copies will be distributed worldwide and Time estimates a circulation of over 500,000 in Europe. A further 600,000 copies will be distributed in the US and more than 200,000 in Asia.
Editor Belinda Luscombe said: “We’ve entered an era in which design is infiltrating every corner of our live and our culture, and Time is in an ideal position to explore and chronicle it.”
