THURSDAY FIGURES

● 3.2 million people watched BBC News on BBC One at midday, rising to a peak of 6.9 million during the Six O’Clock News.

● ITV’s regional news for London, London Tonight, had 3.7 million viewers between 6pm-6.30pm – a 21% share.

● Between 7pm-8pm Channel Four News had 33 per cent more people watching than normal.

● The Sky News website had 35 million page impressions – more than it would normally average in a month.


BBC News Online recorded the highest volume of traffic in the site’s
history, with an estimated figure of 115.7 million page impressions.
