The Sunday Times Scotland will be launching a fortnightly events guide this Sunday.

The paper has collaborated with events magazine The List to produce the new pullout.

Jason Allardyce, editor of The Sunday Times Scotland, said: “As ever Scotland will be buzzing with arts and cultural events this summer. This partnership will help to ensure we are the number one place for culture, as well as news, sport and current affairs in Scotland.”

Editor of The List, Yasmin Sulaiman, said: “It’s always been our mission at The List to increase the depth and breadth of coverage of Scotland’s vibrant arts and entertainment scene.

“This compelling opportunity to work with The Sunday Times Scotland helps us do just that. We will profile exciting events across the country.”

The first issue will highlight the upcoming Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, the first of the city’s festivals, and will feature drummer Bryan Carter on the front cover.

  1. Could the Sunday Times launch a comprehensive listings magazine for London and/or Bristol, the cultural/entertainment scenes of which have been bereft of this vital facility since the print-neglecting online migration of Time Out and the demise of Venue?
