The Guardian is to launch a Thursday science supplement in association with Nature magazine, which publishes on the same day.
Life launches on 3 April and Nature will provide a page of science news. Edited by Emily Wilson, it will cover all areas of science and will incorporate Online, the current Thursday supplement.
Three new specialists have joined Life and to work across the paper as a whole: science correspondents Dr David Adam and Dr Ian Sample, previously at Nature and New Scientist respectively, and science reporter Alok Jha, who joins from Research Fortnight magazine.

The new supplement will take in nature, technology, medicine, environment and other issues.
