The Daily Telegraph has launched a new fashion and beauty section of its website which features a strong emphasis on e-commerce.
The site makes it easy for readers to purchase clothes featured on its pages with ‘buy’ buttons which link through to partner organisations and retailers.
The system is similar to those used by high street fashion magazines – like IPC Media’s Look – for their retail pages.
The site also includes fashion videos and galleries, alongside fashion news, features and the latest catwalk action.
Described as a ‘premium fashion product’the publishers say the new site was the result of a close collaboration between TMG’s editorial, commercial and digital teams.
