The Telegraph Media Group is the latest newspaper publisher to launch an internet TV service, a daily five minute business show made in conjunction with ITN.
The Business Show, which TMG claim will be "Britain's first lunchtime online business briefing", will broadcast every weekday from Monday at telegraph.co.uk. The four to five minute show will be targeted at British financial executives and will focus on Britain's economy, companies and markets. It will be presented by The Daily Telegraph's City editor Damian Reece The Sunday Telegraph's City editor Dan Roberts.
TMG said the program, sponsored by British Airways from April, will feature advertising in its titles.
It is the group's first foray into internet broadcasting after its multi-million pound move to a "converged" newsroom in Victoria, London.
Shaun Gregory, The Daily Telegraph's development director, said: "With this latest development in the Telegraph Media Group's ever growing multi-media output we are able to launch a range of Telegraph TV products, with ‘The Business Show' being our flagship programme.
"Our strategy is now evolving at some pace and The Business Show is yet another example of delivering content to consumers in the way they wish to consume it. What's more important is the fact that we are bringing the advertising community with us. It's across all platforms and fully integrated."
