The Sunday Times is following the example of its daily stablemate by shrinking its broadsheet travel section to tabloid format.
Sunday Times Travel will join existing tabloid
sections: Home, Driving and Funday Times.
The relaunched travel section will have more pages and an increased
editorial to advertising content ratio. The number of colour pages will
increase from 50 per cent to 75 per cent.

Sunday Times travel editor Christine Walker said:
“The compact format is easy to read and well-suited to Travel. With
more colour spreads, we’re looking forward to even better travel
photography to support our world-class writers such as Howard Jacobson,
Frederic Raphael, Dom Joly, Ian Rankin and Stanley Stewart.
