Studd quits Prima for deputy role at Sainsbury’s Magazine

By Press Gazette

Sainsbury’s Magazine has signed Ghillie Studd from Prima to be its new deputy food and drink editor.

Studd, who has been food editor on the women’s monthly for the past two years, will take over from David Herbert, who has been promoted to food and drink editor. Prior to Prima, she worked for Taste, previously known as Simply Food, a joint venture between Sainsbury’s and Carlton.

Herbert joined Sainsbury’s Magazine from Australia last year and continues to write a weekly column in Australia’s national paper, The Weekend Australian.

Editor Sue Robinson said: “David and Ghillie are a great addition to the team. Their wealth of knowledge, ideas and inspiration is a real asset.”
