Evening Standard assistant editor Simon Greenberg has quit journalism to become director of communications for the football club and property development business Chelsea Village, writes Dominic Ponsford.
Greenberg started his career on the Hornsey Journal in 1991 and has worked at The Mail on Sunday and the News of the World.
He said: “I would not have left the Evening Standard or Associated Newspapers for any other paper or newspaper group. But to be a key part of the most exciting football project in years was an opportunity just too good to pass up.”
