Sophy Miller, widow of journalist and ?lm-maker James Miller, braved the English Channel last weekend to raise money for her late husband’s memorial fund.
Along with more than 60 others she took part in the South Coast Classic Triathlon in Seaford, near Brighton.The running, swimming and cycling raised more than £25,000, according to Dan Edge, Miller’s colleague who was at his side when he was shot by Israeli soldiers.
“I was overwhelmed by the spirit, determination and support from the people who took part – some who knew James, some who didn’t,” Miller told Press Gazette. “I’d like to thank everyone for their support.”
