Shortlists unveiled for 2004 PPA magazine awards

Chat, Arena, Music Week and Legal Week are among the magazines shortlisted for this year’s PPA Awards.

The annual awards, run by the Periodical Publishers Association, feature three new categories – consumer lifestyle, monthly business and professional and weekly business and professional magazines of the year.

The winners will be announced at a dinner at Grosvenor House in London’s Park Lane on Wednesday, 5 May.

The shortlists include: Consumer magazines:Arena, Chat, Closer, Eve, Glamour, In Style, Red, What’s On TV.

Consumer specialist: BBC Top Gear, Empire, Geographical, Match, Motor Cycle News, Runner’s World, Uncut, The Week.

Consumer lifestyle: Condé Nast Traveller, Country Living, Elle Decoration, Living Etc, The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Wallpaper.
