Thomson Reuters has launched a Formula 1 news site.
The website is embedded within the Reuters network of websites and offers news, videos and images from Formula 1.
Reuters are collaborating with the Royal Bank of Scotland on the project, who also sponsor the WilliamsF1 Team.
The site also includes profiles of drivers and teams, a race calendar and RBS Race strategy content.
The site will be linked to Reuters.com, and will also feature as part of the Reuters network of websites which include UK, India and France.
Later this month Reuters will also be creating a F1 mobile site on its UK and Indian mobile platforms.
Jamie Madill, Head of sales, UK & EMEA, Reuters Media, said: ‘F1 is one of the world’s most watched sports, and is extremely popular with Reuters online and business audiences. RBS is a passionate supporter of F1 and brings a wealth of expertise to the new collaboration, ensuring that we will provide our users with a one-stop-shop for all F1 news, race reports and expert commentary, alongside our award-winning photography.’
Peter Phillips, RBS F1 programme manager, said: ‘The Reuters business audience offers an ideal platform for RBS to present our exclusive Race Strategy content. Winning strategy is as crucial to results on the F1 racetrack as it is in the boardroom and the RBS partnership with the Reuters F1 site is a tangible reflection of this, whilst providing F1 fans with a slightly different look at race results.’
