Regionals send teams to cover war

Six regional newspapers from across the UK have sent journalists to the Middle East to cover the expected conflict in Iraq. They left the UK this week to travel with the troops as war correspondents and will remain abroad for a minimum of two months. They are reporter Mark Nicholls, Eastern Daily Press; reporter Keith Harrison and photographer Alan Evans, Express & Star, Wolverhampton; reporter James Fraser Andrews, Evening Star, Ipswich; reporter Martin Dillon, Manchester Evening News; reporter Richard Hargreaves, The News, Portsmouth; and reporter Richard Edwards and photographer Jon Mills, Western Daily Press.
