Voting is now open for The Richard Attenborough Film Awards 2008, to be decided exclusively by regional film journalists, staff or freelance.
All UK film, arts and entertainment editors; correspondents, critics and freelancers for print, online and broadcast media, are welcome to vote across six categories, including film of the year and UK regional critics’ rising star of the year.
Films from any genre and any country of origin are eligible, but must have been released publicly in the UK in the year up to 8 February 2008.
The awards, formerly known as the UK Regional Critics’ Film Awards, were announced in February 2007. Film of the year was Pan’s Labyrinth, while its director, Guillermo del Toro, scooped filmmaker of the year.
