Customer publisher Redwood is to produce a digital edition of Electric!, the bi-monthly entertainment magazine for Virgin Media customers.
The digital magazine is aiming to bridge the gap between the print magazine, which Redwood produces for Virgin Media customers every other month, and the website and the email newsletters Virgin Media offer customers.
The digital magazine will be created using the Ceros platform which has a page turning effect and readers will be able to watch trailers and video clips, download content to their desktop and take part in polls, games and quizzes.
The digital version of Electric! launches in October this year and will be emailed to over one million Virgin Media customers. Four pages of advertising space will be available in each issue.
The print version of Electric!, which launched in October 2007, won best overall creative solution and best designed consumer magazine at the 2008 APA Creative Awards.
