Radio Times celebrate Doctor Who’s 40th

By Press Gazette

Radio Times has produced four separate covers and a special 16-page pullout to celebrate 40 years of TV classic Doctor Who, writes Ruth Addicott.

The covers each feature exclusive new photos of surviving Doctor Who actors Tom Baker, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Peter Davidson, as well as the Tardis, Daleks and Cyber men.

The supplement will feature exclusive behind the scenes shots as well as editorial and photos of the series from the RT archives.

Radio Times editor Gill Hudson said: “We’ve raided our enormous archive in order to bring fans of Doctor Who some unique insights and images from the show never before released.”

Radio Times is also giving readers an opportunity to win a full-scale Dalek, worth nearly £2,000. The Doctor Who issue goes on sale on 18 November.
