PC Gamer has promoted reviews editor Ross Atherton to deputy editor. He will work alongside editor Mark Donald and his brief will be to commission freelances, help run the magazine and overseeing the reviews section.
Atherton joined PC Gamer as editorial/production assistant in 1998 before moving up to become production editor a year later. In 2000, he left to work on sister title PC Format as games editor before returning to PC Gamer in 2001.
PC Gamer publisher James Binns said: “As a key member of the PC Gamer editorial team, Ross has earned this promotion. During his time here, Ross has put in consistent effort and is truly passionate about the magazine.”
