Tindle series returns to the ‘heart of the community’

By William Turvill

Tindle Newspapers' Barnet Press has returned to the “heart of the community” by opening an office in the town after an absence of 20 years.

Part of the North London and Herts (NLH) group, the Press has returned to Barnet town after moving first to East Barnet and then Enfield.

The new office officially opened last Friday.

At the opening, Mayor of Barnet Brian Schama said: “It’s wonderful to see the Barnet Press back in the heart of the borough.

“I wish you the very best of luck for the coming years.”

NLH publishing director Alison Cruse said: “We are delighted to be back in the heart of the community, which means that our readers and advertisers will find it much easier to pop in and see us on a regular basis.”

Barnet Press relocated to East Barnet in the late 1980s and early 1990s before merging with the Enfield Gazette series, operating primarily out of Enfield.
