Press Association pair to head Stateside

By Press Gazette

The Press Association has appointed two entertainment correspondents to work in New York and Los Angeles.

Shereen Low will be based in New York, while Ellie Genower will cover the LA entertainment scene.

Each role will involve covering showbiz stories and attending premieres, press junkets and launches.

Both correspondents will be gathering words and video to supply to PA’s Premier Showbiz service for online and mobile customers and will also provide material for PA’s newswire service.

The pair have worked previously for PA as feature writers in the London office. Low joined PA from university six years ago, while Genower had spent a number of years as a freelance writer.

Low said: ‘The challenges of working abroad are both exciting and daunting. My main aim is to further develop our multimedia coverage so that I can deliver a complete package to customers.”
