Picture Editors’ Awards deadline

By Press Gazette

Entries are now being accepted for the 2004 Picture Editors’ Awards, which have a prize fund of more than £30,000.

The awards are open to photographers of any nationality who live and work in the UK or Ireland, and all British and Irish photographers.

Entries can be submitted online at www.pictureawards.net, where details of the categories can be found. The deadline is noon on 18 February.

Nominations, selected by a jury of 40 picture editors, will be announced on 26 February.

The nominated images will then be posted on the awards website and all British and Irish picture editors will be invited to vote for the winners in the portfolio and single print categories.

Separate arrangements are made for the assessment of the Student and Newspaper of the Year categories.
