Andrew Jackson and Zoe Burn are the winners of the inaugural Hilton/MSA British Touring Car Championship’s Regional Journalist & Photography Awards.
Both journalists won their awards for work they had built up over the past year. Jackson’s photograph, which appeared in the Lynn News and the Eastern Daily Press, was taken at the British Touring Car Championships at Brands Hatch. He said: “Cars always get pushed wide by another car on the first corner of Brands Hatch and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. There is a lot of luck in photography, but the more you do it the luckier you seem to get.”
Burn of the Sunday Sun, Newcastle, won the writing category.
