A paper which has been at the forefront of naming and shaming persistent young offenders has found itself the victim of some anti-social behaviour.
The day after the Surrey Herald reported an Anti-Social Behaviour Order made against a 17-yearold local youth, its offices were daubed with graffiti. It was the fifth ASBO case the Herald had covered.
The graffiti appeared overnight on Wednesday/Thursday across the front and side of the paper’s Eastworth Road offices in Chertsey. It included the words “catch us if you can” sprayed across the window of the editor’s office.
