Press Gazette’s Flat Earth News debate at the London College of Communications was packed to capacity on Wednesday night.

Journalists gathered to debate Guardian writer Nick Davies’s book Flat Earth News which investigates what Davies believes are Fleet Street’s diminishing standards.

On the panel were Davies, former Today Programme reporter and Evening Standard journalist Andrew Gilligan, Observer media columnist Peter Preston, East London Advertiser editor Malcolm Starbrook, NUJ president Michelle Stanistreet, Press Gazette editor Dominic Ponsford, director general of PRCA Francis Ingham and Hill and Knowlton CEO Sally Costerton.
