Oxford Mail reporter Emma-Kate Lidbury is swapping notebooks for sweatbands this week as she represents Great Britain at the World Triathlon Championships in Hamburg, Germany on Sunday.
Lidbury, 27, who came eighth in the 25-29 age range at last year’s championship in Switzerland, has been training for 15 hours a week to get in shape.
She came in first place in the London Triathlon earlier this month, with a time of 55 minutes.
