BBC Homes & Antiques and BBC History Magazine have joined forces to produce one-off heritage magazine Restoration.
The 32-page title will be bagged with issues of both magazines on 7 and 12 August respectively. It coincides with the forthcoming Restoration series on BBC Two and will offer a preview of some of the UK’s most endangered historic buildings, featured in the series.
The magazine will also contain an eight-page diary including the best heritage events to visit this summer.
Brian Whittaker, publisher of the homes group at BBC Magazines, said: “I am sure that Restoration will grip millions of television viewers and with the programme’s requirement for a high level of editorial authority and production quality in a magazine partner, it is fantastic that Homes & Antiques was chosen to publish this special magazine.”
