NUJ subs to rise for the first time in three years

By Press Gazette

NUJ subscriptions will rise by 5 per cent from July, delegates at the union’s annual conference in Scarborough agreed today.

It’s the first rise in subs since July 1999 and will boost the NUJ’s annual income by £175,000.

Members earning less than £12,600 per year will only have to pay subscriptions of 0.5 per cent of their annual income.
