Essential Publishing's real life weekly, Full House!, is relocating to Essex – a move which has prompted the exit of its editor.
The magazine will be moving from Holborn to Essential's main base in Colchester – and Press Gazette understands that a number of editorial staff are not making the move.
Current Full House editor, Liz Jarvis has handed over the editorship to Dave Claridge. Jarvis, who joined the title in January this year, is however staying at Essential.
Jarvis said: "This has been a very hard decision, as I'd wanted an editorship for ages and had already had a positive impact on the magazine's design, content and sales. At one point I seriously considered making the commute, but as I live in Wandsworth it simply isn't feasible for me to do this on a daily basis.
"A fast-paced magazine like Full House! needs a full-time, office-based editor and stepping down felt like the grown-up thing to do."
Jarvis had previously been an associate editor at News Magazines' Love It! She replaced Sam Taylor at Full House, who was also on the Love It! launch team. Taylor left the title to become the new editor of ACP-Natmags' Real People.
Claridge has most recently been editor of Real magazine, which closed in March, just weeks after announcing its intention to change its frequency from fortnightly to monthly.
