Tim Jotischky joins Sunday Telegraph as deputy editor

Telegraph Media Group has poached Daily Mail head of sport Tim Jotischky to become deputy editor of the Sunday Telegraph.

He will replace Dan Roberts, who was also head of business, who is joining Guardian News and Media to head up their business coverage across the Guardian, Observer and Guardian.co.uk. No start date has yet been agreed.

Jotischky has previously been editor of the Scottish Daily Mail, editor of Metro, foreign editor of the Daily Mail and executive news editor of the Daily Mail.

He is the latest in a series of senior Associated Newspapers journalists to be poached by the Telegraph.

Sunday Telegraph editor Ian MacGregor said Jotischky was 'one of the best journalists I have met".
